Our Location
D41 Kids Foundation is proudly based in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, serving the local community and surrounding areas. Our physical address is Glen Ellyn, Illinois, 60137-3900.
Located in the heart of DuPage County, we are strategically positioned to serve families and children throughout the western Chicago suburbs. Our central location allows us to collaborate effectively with local schools, community centers, and partner organizations to maximize our reach and impact.
Unlocking Potential, Building Success
Our mission is simple yet powerful: Unlocking potential, building success. Every child deserves access to the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
At D41 Kids Foundation, we believe that every child possesses unique talents and abilities waiting to be discovered and nurtured. Through our comprehensive programs and dedicated support, we work to remove barriers that prevent children from reaching their full potential.
What We Do
Educational Resources
We provide children with essential learning materials, technology access, tutoring support, and academic enrichment programs designed to enhance their educational journey and academic achievement.
Mentoring Programs
Our trained mentors work one-on-one with children to provide guidance, encouragement, and positive role modeling that helps build confidence and life skills for long-term success.
Social-Emotional Support
We offer counseling services, peer support groups, and wellness programs that address the emotional and social needs of children, helping them develop resilience and healthy relationships.
Educational Excellence
Bridging the Digital Divide
In today's technology-driven world, access to educational resources is more critical than ever. Our foundation provides laptops, tablets, and high-speed internet access to ensure no child falls behind due to lack of technology.
We partner with local schools to identify students who need additional academic support, providing tutoring services, after-school programs, and summer learning initiatives that keep children engaged year-round.
  • Technology lending library with over 200 devices
  • Free internet hotspot programs for families
  • Academic tutoring in math, reading, and science
  • College preparation and scholarship guidance
Mentorship That Matters
Our mentoring programs create lasting relationships between caring adults and children who need additional support and guidance. Each mentor undergoes comprehensive background checks and training to ensure they can provide the highest quality support.
01
Application & Screening
Volunteers complete our thorough application process, including background checks and reference verification.
02
Training & Preparation
New mentors participate in 20 hours of training covering child development, communication skills, and program protocols.
03
Matching & Introduction
We carefully match mentors with children based on interests, personality, and specific needs for optimal compatibility.
04
Ongoing Support
Program coordinators provide continuous support, regular check-ins, and additional resources throughout the mentoring relationship.
Social-Emotional Wellness
Mental health and emotional wellness are fundamental to a child's success. Our social-emotional support programs address anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges through evidence-based interventions and therapeutic approaches.
Group Therapy
Small group sessions led by licensed therapists help children process emotions, develop coping strategies, and build healthy peer relationships in a safe, supportive environment.
Individual Counseling
One-on-one therapy sessions provide personalized support for children dealing with trauma, family issues, or mental health challenges requiring individualized attention.
Family Support
We work with parents and caregivers to create supportive home environments and provide resources for family therapy and parenting skills development.
